It’s really important to revisit schemes long after the building phase has been completed. We were delighted to re-visit a housing scheme at Llandulas that we designed all the external works for on behalf of Pennaf Housing. JPH architects designed the housing units. Residents moved in in 2014. 10 years on there is a real community feel, the site is looking great and it is being really well looked after by its residents. The trees and planting are growing well, residents have taken ownership of their gardens and hard paving areas are standing up to daily use.
The quality of finishes could not have been achieved without a supportive client sharing the belief that quality finishes make places that people respect and want to live in. Whilst we were on site taking photos I met some of the residents who told me what a lovely place it is to live, which was great to hear and why we do the job we do.
