City of London Cemetery | The Shoot

The City of London Cemetery is a Grade 1 Registered Landscape. Works have commenced to ”remodel and reclaim’ an area of contaminated land within the cemetery known as ‘The Shoot’, previously used for storage of materials and soils.   The scheme includes new burial areas which have been sensitively designed to fit into the Registered Landscape. Works have included working closely with SI engineers on a Materials Management Plan (MMP) to meet the requirements of the CLA:IRE (Contaminated Land in Real Environments) protocol.
