Construction works have now commenced at King Charles Tower Green in Chester. The park lies between King Charles Tower, Chester City Walls and the Shropshire Union Canal in the heart of Chester. The green is part of a Scheduled Ancient Monument and within a Conservation Area.
The area had become overgrown and dilapidated, attracting significant amount of antisocial behaviour. The aim of the project is to improve the, safety, appearance and accessibly of the site, through vegetation clearance, architectural lighting and hard and soft landscape improvements. The construction works are being managed by Harrison Design-Development on behalf of the client Cheshire West and Chester Council.
