Tyn Llan, Llandwrog – Practical Completion

We are delighted that Practical Completion has been reached at Tyn Llan pub with the last stage of this ambitious community interest enterprise opening to the public. The finishing touches are being added to the external works and the deck – which perfectly complements the restaurant and should be a real draw in the spring and summer months.  A composite material has been selected for the deck for its durability and clean finish.  The aim of providing year-round renewable power to the pub has been ambitious and challenging.  HDD have been co-ordinating the spatial arrangements of ground source heat pump (GSHP) elements alongside a large solar array and an extensive network of sustainable drainage features within, what is, a very tight site.  We are really looking forwards to enjoying a meal in the restaurant and a drink on the deck, soaking in the landscape and the views.
