Slate Landscape of North Wales

We are privileged to have been appointed by Gwynedd Council to assist with a levelling up project at Parc Padarn, at the heart of the ‘Slate Landscapes of Wales’ World Heritage Site. The site borders the spectacular landscape of Eryri National Park and is home to numerous important Listed Buildings and Scheduled Monuments associated with the slate industry in Wales. Two SSSI’s also adjoin the site. The project seeks to make improvements to a circulation and parking area adjacent to the National State Museum. The important site will accommodate hundreds of thousands of visitors per year, to welcome them in a safe and carefully designed facility appropriate to the spectacular setting.
