HDD are proud to have worked alongside Curtins engineers in designing and overseeing £1.5 million of infrastructure works within West Norwood Cemetery in South London.
The infrastructure works are the first phase of a £5.4 million investment in the cemetery funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. The contractors Idverde have worked carefully and with sensitivity to deliver the scheme, including maintaining access to the busy crematorium in the heart of the historic site.
The works which included extensive drainage and sensitive resurfacing of pathways carefully designed to protect and fit into the Registered Landscape.
The new works will assist with managing local flooding and in protecting the listed monuments and buildings within the site
