Northern Design Awards shortlist

We are delighted to announce that  Harrison Design Development has been shortlisted by the  Northern Design Awards for the Daniel Owen Square public realm project. The awards take place next month in Leeds.

Public Realm works St Marys Flint

Works have started on site at St Marys Church Flint. The works adjacent to the Grade II Listed church are phase 2 of public realm improvements to Flint town centre and include high quality stone paving, walls, steps and seating. HDD prepared detailed designs for the scheme for Flintshire County Council.

Rectory Lane Cemetery

Rectory Lane Cemetery We are delighted at being appointed by the Friends of St Peters Great Berkhamsted to support them, with their Stage 2 HLF Parks for People application. HDD supported the group with a consultation held as part of a Heritage open day event.

North Waltham Cemetery

Archaeological investigations commence this week , as part of the work HDD are undertaking to discharge planning conditions for a new 6 hectare cemetery near Basingstoke. ECUS are undertaking the investigations, HDD are managing the discharge of planning conditions.

Camberwell Old Cemetery

Boundary works at Camberwell Old Cemetery are now complete. HDD oversaw the design and contract management, of new ornamental railings and associated works to improve an unsightly boundary within the cemetery.

Newport Cemetery Opening

Cemetery Lodge Complete

Works are now complete to transform the previously derelict Grade 2 listed lodge building into the main cemetery office within Camberwell New Cemetery. The sensitively designed landscape scheme reinstates lost historical features including formal lawns, integrates access improvements for less able users, and provides an attractive environment.

Civic Trust Award

King Charles Tower was commended by Chester Civic Trust in their New Years honours list in the Public Open Spaces category. Harrison Design Development were appointed by Cheshire West and Cheshire Council to design and oversee the implementation of works to improve this important public space adjacent to the historic Chester City Walls.

City of London Cemetery-The Shoot
