HDD have been acting as project managers and lead consultant for this major NHLF project for over 10 years, it’s wonderful to see the work finally complete.
The Bailey Hill project in Mold reached the major milestone of practical completion earlier this month. The site is now open to the public and has plenty of visitors enjoying the transformed spaces throughout the site. The remodelled entrance now includes stone entrance steps with curved stone walls and accessible ramp, which both lead onto the new decking area that provides an amazing viewpoint into Mold. Visitors can also enjoy new paths and ramps which enable more user-friendly access to both the outer and inner Bailey, including the new terraced circular events area. Several new benches around the site provide a place to simply sit, relax and enjoy the fresh air and listen to birdsong.
Minor works are still to be completed including, final surfacing dressing, painting of handrails and further planting once the weather improves.
